Diiadem, Dabota Feud: Real Housewives of Lagos Stars Trade Blows

A once-strong bond between two prominent stars of The Real Housewives of Lagos, Adeola 'Diiadem' Adeyemi and Dabota Lawson, has publicly disintegrated. The beauty entrepreneurs, who rose to fame after appearing together in the third season of the show, have taken to social media to air their grievances. Their friendship, which was previously celebrated by fans, has turned sour, with both women leveling accusations against each other. The feud began when Diiadem posted a series of messages on Snapchat, addressing what she described as 'hate' and 'smear campaigns' against her. She accused Dabota of being involved in the circulation of information about her through bloggers and claimed that Dabota had asked her to return a ₦5m transfer that was initially meant as a birthday gift. Furthermore, Diiadem accused Dabota of having a pattern of using bloggers to tear down people she falls out with. In response, Dabota challenged Diiadem to specify what she had done to cause the fallout. She suggested that their relationship became strained after she secured funding from a finance company that Diiadem had also applied to. Dabota rejected aspects of Diiadem's claims, particularly those related to blogger-related disputes, and dared Diiadem to produce evidence for the allegations made against her. The dispute also delved into their financial dealings, with Diiadem claiming that she once borrowed ₦1m from Dabota and repaid it with an additional amount.
