BBNaija Season 11 Sees First Eviction as Martins Iyeh Bows Out

The Big Brother Naija Season 11 reality show has witnessed its first eviction, with Martins Iyeh being the unfortunate housemate to leave the competition. This development occurred during the live show on Sunday night, where the fate of the housemates up for possible eviction was decided by viewers' votes. Martins, a 30-year-old visual storyteller and model from Kogi State, was among the initial 24 contestants introduced on July 26 when the season premiered. With the theme 'Everything Is For The Taking' and a record N160m prize package at stake, including N100m cash and an SUV, the competition is fierce. As a creative director, visual storyteller, and model, Martins had entered the house with the hope of showcasing his personality and creativity to a wider audience. He had also expressed interest in basketball and jokingly mentioned mind-reading as one of his hidden talents. Upon his introduction, Martins stated that his primary goal was to have fun and make the most of his time in the house, saying, 'I came here to have fun.' During his short stay, Martins formed close bonds with some of the housemates and was involved in various conversations and social activities that shaped the early dynamics of the season. His birthday was celebrated in the house, with fellow housemates organizing a special gathering for him, and he was treated to a performance by Mercedes. The eviction marks a new stage in the competition, with 16 housemates initially facing possible eviction. However, with the exit of Martins, the number of contestants vying for the ultimate prize has decreased, intensifying the race for the Season 11 crown.
