Meet the Inaugural BBNaija Season 11 Housemates as Show Begins

The much-anticipated Big Brother Naija Season 11 officially kicked off on Sunday, introducing the initial group of contestants vying for the groundbreaking ₦160 million grand prize. The live launch event, expertly hosted by Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, saw each participant make their debut before viewers, engaging in brief interviews, and subsequently entering Biggie’s residence. More housemates are slated for unveiling as the launch show progresses.
Among the first to enter was a 24-year-old streamer hailing from Lagos, who characterized himself as tenacious and singularly focused on winning the competition. He explicitly stated his disinterest in romantic entanglements or any form of distraction, affirming his sole purpose in the house is to claim victory. Following him was Martins, a 30-year-old visual storyteller and model from Kogi State. Martins expressed his intention to step away from the runway to enjoy his time in Biggie’s house, also revealing a supposed hidden talent for mind-reading and admitting he might be prone to open emotional displays. Abi, a chef and model from Osun State, described herself as a vibrant individual poised to bring humor, self-assurance, and ample 'sauce' to the house.
Chimsom Chuka, a 27-year-old pharmacist from Anambra, confidently stated his ability to handle pressure with ease. He portrayed himself as patient, humorous, and genuine, looking forward to a pleasurable stay in the house. Keivo, a 27-year-old web developer from Benue State, presented himself as a versatile individual with strong self-confidence. His hobbies include gaming, painting, and drawing, and while he is receptive to finding love, he is not currently considering marriage. Mercedes, 26, a massage therapist and proprietor of a concierge business from Delta State, declared her entry into the competition driven by ambition, self-belief, and what she termed 'boss energy.'
Other housemates introduced include Flora, a stylish makeup entrepreneur known for her honesty and a vibrant personality designed to keep the #BBNaija house lively, though her relationship status remains complicated. Temi Nkem, Gerald – a fitness enthusiast, proud mother, and 'lover girl' – also joined the lineup. Sheba is set to bring her powerful vocals, warm demeanor, and an open heart into Biggie's abode, seeking both good times and potentially love. Araga, a fashion model and self-proclaimed 'king' who acts as a 'full-time vibe curator,' labels himself 'the last loverboy standing in Nigeria,' driven by aspirations for money, energy, and love. Ricky, 33, a writer from Port Harcourt, identifies as a 'bad boy by necessity,' finding love as exhilarating as literature, yet not subscribing to it. Nomy, a 26-year-old fashion designer from Anambra, is poised to effortlessly transform her star power into media headlines. Barry, a 26-year-old civil engineer and Abuja-based designer, boasts impeccable style. He is competitive, open to romance, but intolerant of disrespect. Lastly, Neche, 25, asserts she is bringing intellect, attractiveness, and abundance into Biggie's house.
As the live launch continues, more housemates are anticipated to be revealed. Viewers can tune in to the show around the clock via DStv Channel 198 and GOtv Channel 49, with PUNCH Online committed to delivering ongoing updates as additional contestants enter the Big Brother Naija house.
