John Boyega Confirms Secret Wedding and Welcomes First Child

Popular British-Nigerian actor, John Boyega, has shared that he tied the knot in a private ceremony almost two years ago and has since welcomed his first child with his wife. The ‘Star Wars’ lead disclosed details about his marriage during a recent chat with The Guardian, explaining the couple's decision to keep their union under wraps.

Boyega stated, “We both like the idea of celebrating something established rather than celebrating the entry.” While the couple opted for an intimate wedding, the talented actor expressed his desire for a grander celebration in the future, playfully remarking that they would “have to shut Nigeria down!”

Discussing his journey into fatherhood, Boyega conveyed immense joy, saying, “My life is completely fulfilled in terms of family. It’s been so nice with the timing.” At the time of the interview, he mentioned that they were anticipating the arrival of a baby boy. The actor has since taken to Instagram to confirm the birth of their child, posting, “Our bundle of joy has been with us for some time now but thank you for all the well wishes. Also my sister is about to pop! Wish her well too! Back to feeding this big baby!”
