Covenant, UI, UNILAG Shine as Nigeria's Best in 2027 Global University Rankings

The prestigious 2027 Times Higher Education World University Rankings have recently identified Covenant University, the University of Ibadan (UI), and the University of Lagos (UNILAG) as Nigeria's highest-ranked institutions. These three prominent universities successfully secured spots within the 801–1000 global bracket, according to the detailed publication released to the public on Wednesday, September 30.

This latest edition of the rankings also features several new entrants from Nigeria. Among these universities making their debut are Osun State University, the University of Maiduguri, Kwara State University, Olabisi Onabanjo University, and the Michael Okpara University of Agriculture, Umudike.
