Professor Alamu Leads Thanksgiving for Wife's Release in Oyo

Professor Alamu, the husband of Mrs. Rachael Alamu, who serves as the principal of Ahoro Esinle School in Oyo State, led a special thanksgiving service today, July 12. The event, held at the First Baptist Church, celebrated the safe return of Mrs. Alamu and 43 students and pupils who were abducted from the Oriire local government area on May 15.
Emotional scenes captured in photos and videos circulating online depicted Professor Alamu alongside other congregants at the First Baptist Church, joyfully singing praises to God. Their gratitude stemmed from the successful rescue and release of Mrs. Alamu and the other victims, which occurred on Friday, July 12, after enduring weeks in captivity. Professor Alamu was visibly jubilant, dancing enthusiastically with fellow worshippers as they chorused "Hallelujah," expressing profound thanks for the safe reunion with his wife and the other individuals.
