Authorities in Pennsylvania, United States, have filed two counts of criminal homicide against Metallica Rose Harrison, a 27-year-old woman. She stands accused of fatally stabbing her husband and their three-year-old son during a family vacation at a local resort.

Police reports indicate that the tragic incident unfolded within a room at Great Wolf Lodge, where the family had been residing for several weeks. Records show they initially checked in on September 21 and extended their stay on October 5.

Investigators allege that Harrison attacked her husband, Charles Harrison, and their son, identified as T.H., with a sharp object. Following the alleged attack, she reportedly inflicted injuries upon herself in what appeared to be an attempt to end her own life. Police confirmed she subsequently placed a 911 call, requesting assistance from the dispatcher to commit su*cide.

According to the dispatcher’s account, Harrison stated, “My husband and son are already gone in the bed in the living room. They’re already gone, I’m sorry.”

Court documents further reveal that Harrison later confided in emergency medical personnel, expressing her lifelong aspiration to be an exemplary wife and mother. She was quoted as saying, “Every day, I work so hard to be the best person, the best mother, the best wife,” adding that her dream since childhood was to have a joyful family.

Law enforcement officials recovered two sharp objects, various medication bottles, and other items from the hotel room. Police sources disclosed that between 80 and 90 pieces of evidence were collected from the scene. The Monroe County District Attorney characterized the event as a domestic tragedy, reassuring the public that there was no ongoing threat to the community. As of Tuesday night, Harrison remained hospitalized and had not yet faced arraignment, with investigations into the incident still in progress.
