The Minister for Arts, Culture, Tourism, and the Creative Economy, Hannatu Musa Musawa, recently took to her X (formerly Twitter) account to lavish praise on her counterpart, Festus Keyamo, who heads the Ministry of Aviation and Aerospace Development. Musawa affectionately referred to Keyamo with various endearing terms, including her “ride or die,” “partner in crime,” “5 and 6,” “seat mate,” “true and tried,” “day one,” “real one,” “friend,” “bestie,” and “brother,” while commending his performance in public service.
Expressing profound admiration for the Aviation Minister, Musawa penned, “I am so proud of you my dear brother @fkeyamo. You are, without doubt, one of the best performing public servants #Nigeria has produced. Thank you for your service my brother!” Her post, which highlighted her personal regard and appreciation for Keyamo’s contributions to the nation, was accompanied by these affectionate expressions.
Both ministers are key members of President Bola Tinubu’s cabinet, with Musawa overseeing a broad portfolio encompassing arts, culture, tourism, and the creative economy, and Keyamo guiding the nation’s aviation and aerospace sector.
In related developments, President Tinubu has forwarded amendment bills for the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) and the Nigerian Safety Investigation Bureau (NSIB) to the Senate. Separately, Rivers State Governor Nyesom Wike recently asserted that President Tinubu has performed commendably, regardless of public opinion. Additionally, the President is seeking the House of Representatives’ approval for a N100.5 billion refund to Yobe State, related to an airport takeover.
Musawa and Keyamo have frequently been observed together at official functions. They were recently selected as keynote speakers for the 9th National Tourism Transportation Summit and Expo (NTTSummit). The announcement regarding their participation was made in Abuja by Chief Abiodun Odusanwo, who serves as the National President of the Institute for Tourism Professionals of Nigeria (ITPN) and Chairman of the Inter-Ministerial Organising Committee. Keyamo’s involvement in the summit followed his appointment by the African Development Bank as the African Champion for the Integrated Aviation Transformation Programme for Africa (IATP). Minister Musawa, on her part, focused her address on strategies aimed at bolstering both domestic and international tourism through enhanced transportation networks. The ministerial duo also attended the inaugural Seyi Tinubu Colloquium held on Monday, celebrating Seyi Tinubu’s 41st birthday.
