A woman is currently facing charges of m8rder and aggravated assault with a d3adly weapon after she allegedly used her vehicle to intentionally hit her former boyfriend and his new partner in a restaurant car park, resulting in the woman's d3ath. The accused, identified as Dionisiah Kazuko Edwards-Carpeal, is linked to the fatal incident that took place on Monday, September 28, 2026, in San Antonio, Texas.

Reports from the arrest documentation indicate that law enforcement officers were dispatched to the 9700 block of Data Point Drive following calls about a silver SUV striking an individual in a parking area. Upon arrival, officers discovered one person with severe injuries. This victim was transported to a hospital but later succumbed to their injuries. A second person was also struck but survived the attack.

Investigators revealed that the surviving victim had been in a relationship with Edwards-Carpeal for approximately six years. He informed detectives that Edwards-Carpeal had repeatedly sent him text messages and made phone calls after discovering he was dating the woman who tragically d!ed.

The man recounted that he and the d3ceased woman were walking from a Wendy’s establishment towards a nearby residence when Edwards-Carpeal drove slowly alongside them, calling out to him. According to the arrest report, a security guard then approached the SUV and instructed her to leave the couple alone.

The surviving victim further told investigators that he then heard the SUV's tires screech before witnessing Edwards-Carpeal accelerate and collide with both victims. He stated he was thrown onto the vehicle's hood before falling to the ground, sustaining injuries to his ankle and back. A witness corroborated parts of this account, telling investigators that the woman who d!ed was dragged beneath the SUV before a rear tire ran over her.

Two additional witnesses described observing the SUV swerve deliberately towards the victims before impact. One witness specifically noted that the driver reversed, drove back towards the injured individuals, and peered out of the driver’s-side window before driving away from the scene. Investigators confirmed that video footage captured by another witness supported these detailed accounts.

Police successfully traced the SUV’s license plate to Edwards-Carpeal. Subsequently, the surviving victim positively identified her as the driver from a photograph. Edwards-Carpeal is currently being held at the Bexar County Jail, with her bond set at a combined $400,000.
