US Flight Incident: Woman Arrested Over Alleged Mid-Air Indecent Act

A female passenger, identified as 46-year-old Katy Inzer, was apprehended by authorities following claims that she performed an indecent act while aboard a flight. Police reports indicate Inzer allegedly removed her trousers and began to masturbate loudly during a Miami-bound flight on September 11.

The incident reportedly occurred approximately 20 minutes into the journey from Baltimore. A 61-year-old male passenger seated near Inzer raised an alarm after witnessing her actions. Flight attendant Gabriel Barrero was informed and subsequently approached Inzer, instructing her to put her clothing back on. Barrero stated that Inzer complied without further incident and reportedly fell asleep for the remainder of the flight.

Upon the aircraft's arrival at Miami International Airport, law enforcement officials were on standby after receiving reports of a female passenger causing a disturbance. When interviewed by officers, Inzer claimed she had no recollection of the events, stating she 'fell asleep' during the flight. The arrest report noted that she had a strong scent of alcohol and bloodshot eyes. Inzer explained that her flight from Baltimore had experienced a two-hour delay, leading her to consume several alcoholic beverages before boarding.

Given that the alleged incident occurred in-flight, the Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office transferred the case to the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI). FBI agent Justin Houston was notified, and a copy of the police report was forwarded to him. As of now, the status of the FBI's inquiry remains undisclosed, and US media reports indicate that no formal charges have been filed against Inzer.
