Spiritualist Angela Nwosu has openly discussed a deeply distressing incident she asserts occurred when she was 14 years old, at the hands of her own mother. Angela recounted that her mother had accused her of engaging in s*xual activity with a male friend, an accusation she vehemently denied. According to her narrative, her father subsequently restrained her while her mother allegedly carried out a brutal assault, using a concoction of Cameroon pepper mixed with kerosene. This act, Angela stated, inflicted severe pain and resulted in a lasting injury.

The spiritualist expressed that this harrowing experience left her profoundly traumatised, leading her to spend many years burdened by self-blame for what transpired. She further claimed that the injury she sustained subsequently caused a persistent discharge and an unpleasant odour, which brought her considerable embarrassment both at home and within her school environment.

Now a mother herself, Angela revealed that the impact of this past event continues to influence her approach to disciplining her own children. She is resolute in her determination not to perpetuate the cycle of abuse. "I don’t want to end up like my mother. I don’t want to do to them what my mother did to me," she affirmed. She also admitted that despite reaching adulthood, she still grapples with finding complete resolution and healing from the incident.
