A Nigerian man, Chukwudi Sunday Ajuro, has taken to social media to express his disappointment and frustration after a woman he met on Facebook disappeared with his money. According to Ajuro, he had met the woman on the social media platform and was immediately drawn to her, thinking she was a potential wife. The woman had reached out to him, claiming she was hungry and needed N2,000 to buy food. Ajuro, being the kind-hearted person he is, sent her the money. However, she later told him that she needed an additional N3,000 to purchase medication for her ulcer, which he also sent. As a way of showing her appreciation, she offered to visit and cook for him. Ajuro, excited at the prospect, sent her N12,000 to cover the cost of cooking and transportation. Unfortunately, after receiving the money, the woman stopped responding to his messages. Ajuro has now shared screenshots of their conversation, as well as the transaction receipts, in an attempt to expose the woman's alleged scam. The receipts show that the money was sent to an account bearing the name Ugochukwu Okafor, leaving many to wonder if the woman had given Ajuro a fake account number or if the Facebook user was actually a man posing as a woman to defraud unsuspecting men.
