Tragedy Unfolds in Katul Crossing Community as Gunmen Claim Four Lives

A devastating attack has occurred in the Katul Crossing Community, located in the Kachia Local Government Area of Kaduna State. The incident, which took place on Monday, July 13, 2026, at approximately 8:00 pm, resulted in the loss of four lives. Among the victims were a mother and her daughter, who fell prey to the onslaught of suspected gunmen. The daughter succumbed to her injuries at the scene, while the mother was rushed to a hospital in critical condition but unfortunately did not survive. Two other individuals also lost their lives in the attack. The community is currently in a state of mourning, awaiting the burial of the victims, which is expected to take place once the necessary arrangements have been made by their families.
