Lagos Lady Accuses Catholic Priest of S€x-for-Shelter Demand

A serious allegation has been leveled against a Catholic priest by a young woman who claims he demanded sexual favours from her in exchange for shelter. The woman disclosed this during an interview on the 'Outside the Box' podcast, where she recounted her experience.

According to her testimony, after being driven out of her uncle's house, she found herself with nowhere to go and subsequently sought refuge at a prominent Catholic church located in Lagos. She had hoped to spend the night there, believing it to be a safe haven.

However, she alleges that the priest informed her she could only stay if she agreed to sleep with him first. The lady stated that she rejected this alleged proposition and opted to find alternative accommodation for the night. This traumatic experience, she explained, severely damaged her faith in religious institutions.

She further asserted that this incident was a significant factor in her decision to stop attending church, as she found it impossible to reconcile the priest's alleged conduct with his public role within the church community.
