Shop Worker Reportedly Gifts Employer's Sales to Girlfriend

A shop employee in Ghana is reportedly facing serious allegations after he allegedly liquidated almost the entire stock of his employer's business and subsequently gave all the money generated from the sales to his girlfriend during her visit. The incident, as reported by Crime Check Ghana, allegedly occurred when the shop owner was absent, having entrusted the establishment to the employee's supervision.

The matter came to light when the proprietor returned to find the shop shelves nearly bare and no funds available to reconcile the extensive sales. When confronted about the missing goods and revenue, the salesman is said to have confessed to transferring the entire proceeds to his girlfriend.
