Venita Hits Back At Cross Over Phyna Boxing Match Proposal

Big Brother Naija personality, Venita Akpofure, has responded to a suggestion from fellow reality TV star, Cross Okonkwo, regarding a potential celebrity boxing bout. Cross had taken to the social media platform X, formerly Twitter, to inquire if Venita would be interested in engaging in a fight with Phyna, another BBNaija alumnus. He characterized the proposed match-up as a confrontation between "two strong women" and expressed his readiness to financially support the event, stating he would be willing to "pay anything to watch the two reality stars face each other in the boxing ring."

Venita, however, did not take kindly to the proposition. In her sharp retort, she advised Cross that if he possessed "such an appetite to see a woman get punched," he ought to consider sending "his wife into the boxing ring instead." Following Venita's strong reaction, Cross subsequently clarified his initial statement, indicating that his suggestion was merely a jest. He reminded Venita of their familiarity, stating they "were not strangers" and that he was "playing" with her.
