They have implored the public to refrain from disseminating unverified narratives surrounding the ongoing legal proceedings.
The statement highlighted that the case is currently undergoing judicial review, emphasizing that mere allegations should not be misconstrued as proof of guilt until the legal process reaches a definitive conclusion. Specifically, Poco Lee’s team tackled the widespread online speculations regarding "drink spiking," unequivocally stating that such a claim is not included in any of the formal charges or allegations presented before the court.
"We are particularly concerned by the volume of unverified narratives currently circulating, including claims referencing ‘drink spiking,’ amongst other allegations which do not form part of any of the allegations or charges before the court," the official release conveyed.
The dancer's representatives further appealed to media outlets and the general populace to avoid introducing details extraneous to the actual case, cautioning that such actions could foster misinformation and unfairly prejudice all parties involved.
