Morayo Afolabi-Brown Laments 'What's My Sin?' After Viewer Curses Interviewer Role

Popular Nigerian television personality, Morayo Afolabi-Brown, has publicly addressed a distressing incident where she received a phone call from an individual who unleashed a torrent of curses upon her. The caller's aggression stemmed from questions Morayo had posed to a guest during one of her broadcast interviews.
In a video shared online, Morayo expressed profound shock over the occurrence, emphasizing that asking pertinent questions forms an integral part of her professional responsibilities. She highlighted her extensive career, spanning over two decades in the media industry, asserting that this experience grants her the legitimate authority to conduct interviews with guests in a professional manner.
Afolabi-Brown further clarified that she consistently respects the boundaries established by her interviewees, noting that many guests pre-select the topics they feel comfortable discussing. She reiterated that her program is designed to foster positive engagement and facilitate meaningful discussions, rather than to attack or cause embarrassment to anyone.
Concluding her remarks, Morayo stated that while individuals are entitled to disagree with her questioning style, resorting to cursing her for simply performing her job functions is both unjust and regrettable. The video, where she made these statements, was also referenced.
