Gospel Singer Neon Adejo Clarifies Photo Request to David Martins' Estranged Wife Amid Flirting Claims

Full Story
Popular gospel artiste, Neon Adejo, has publicly addressed and refuted allegations of flirting with Alicia, the estranged wife of photographer David Martins. The singer provided a detailed account of his interactions with Alicia, specifically explaining the circumstances behind his request for a selfie from her.
Adejo disclosed in a video statement that his involvement began when Alicia reportedly confided in him about facing significant mental, financial, verbal, and emotional abuse within her marriage. He further stated that he transparently discussed Alicia's situation with his own wife, and together, they decided to offer their support. This assistance, according to Adejo, included financial aid, temporary accommodation, and other forms of help.
Regarding the controversial selfie request, Adejo clarified that it occurred after Alicia had received a new hairstyle, arranged through a friend whom he had recommended. His intention, he explained, was for Alicia to send a photograph so he could provide an update to the friend who facilitated the hairstyling service.
Adejo claimed that the message exchange was subsequently disseminated by David Martins in a manner that falsely implied a romantic interest or flirtation with Alicia. He also alleged that crucial segments of their conversation were omitted when the messages were shared. Furthermore, Alicia herself, in a three-way discussion, corroborated Adejo's account, denying any romantic involvement or flirting between them.
In response to the misunderstanding and the resulting controversy, Neon Adejo revealed that he and his wife have sought spiritual guidance through prayer. They have also implemented more stringent boundaries in their interactions to prevent any future misinterpretations of their supportive intentions.
