Stanbic IBTC Holdings Plc has informed the Nigerian Exchange Limited and its stakeholders that the company may experience a delay in submitting its audited financial statements for the half-year period ending 30 June 2026. This notification was made in a regulatory statement signed by the Group Company Secretary, Chidi Okezie, which was published on the NGX portal. According to the statement, the potential delay is due to the ongoing audit of the company's half-year results, which will require regulatory approval from the Central Bank of Nigeria before the results can be made public. The company stated that it is working to expedite the process and publish the financial statements as soon as possible, either before or shortly after the regulatory deadline of 28 August 2026. The statement read, 'This is to inform Nigerian Exchange Limited as well as our esteemed stakeholders that Stanbic IBTC Holdings Plc may experience a delay in filing its audited financial statements for the half year ended 30 June 2026, by the due date of 28 August 2026. The company is currently finalising the audit of its 2026 half-year results, following which we would also be seeking the required regulatory approvals.' The company assured its stakeholders that it is making every effort to ensure the timely submission of its financial statements, in accordance with the NGX post-listing rules, which require quoted companies to submit their quarterly and half-year interim reports within 30 to 60 days after the end of the period.
