THE THIRD REVELATION, SEASON1 EPISODE 3: THE VOICE FROM THE PAST

THE THIRD REVELATION
EPISODE 3: THE VOICE FROM THE PAST
Narrator:
Daniel stood motionless.
The cassette tape rested on his father's desk.
It was old.
Dusty.
The label was faded.
Yet two words stood out clearly.
**PLAY ME.**
Daniel picked it up carefully.
"This wasn't here."
Sarah nodded slowly.
"I searched this office after Dad died."
Michael looked around the room.
"Then who put it here?"
No one answered.
Outside, thunder rumbled across the Lagos sky.
---
Daniel walked to the bookshelf.
Hidden behind rows of old theology books sat an antique cassette player.
The same one Pastor David had used years ago to record his sermons.
"It still works," Daniel murmured.
He inserted the tape.
His finger hovered over the Play button.
Sarah stopped him.
"Wait."
She closed her eyes.
"We should pray first."
Daniel sighed.
"Sarah, this is just a cassette."
She looked directly at him.
"Maybe.
Or maybe someone wants us to hear something before we're ready."
Michael laughed nervously.
"I don't care who recorded it.
Let's just play it."
Sarah bowed her head.
"Lord Jesus...
If this message is from You, give us wisdom.
If it is meant to deceive us, expose every lie.
Lead us into Your truth.
Amen."
Silence filled the room.
Daniel pressed PLAY.
---
Static.
Several seconds of silence.
Then...
A familiar voice.
Pastor David.
"If you are hearing this...
Then I have gone to be with the Lord."
The three siblings stared at one another.
Pastor David continued.
"My children...
There are things I never told you because the time was not right."
Daniel swallowed hard.
"I have made mistakes.
Serious mistakes.
But one thing I know...
Jesus never failed me."
Sarah's eyes filled with tears.
Then the recording changed.
Pastor David's breathing became heavier.
"As for the black box..."
Suddenly—
The tape screeched.
A loud burst of static filled the office.
Then...
Nothing.
The tape stopped.
Michael frowned.
"That's it?"
Daniel rewound it.
Played it again.
The exact same thing happened.
The message always stopped after the words...
**'As for the black box...'**
---
Just then...
A loud knock echoed through the office door.
Three slow knocks.
Daniel opened the door.
No one.
The hallway was empty.
Only a small brown envelope lay on the floor.
It was addressed to Sarah.
Inside was a single page.
No name.
No signature.
Only a handwritten Bible verse.
**John 8:32**
*"And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free."*
Sarah whispered the verse aloud.
"What does this mean?"
Michael turned the page over.
His face changed instantly.
On the back was another message.
**"Stop looking for the box.
Start looking for the truth."**
---
Elsewhere...
Across Lagos...
Inside a luxurious office on the top floor of a high-rise building...
A man watched church security footage on a large screen.
His face remained hidden.
Only his hands were visible.
One hand held a silver cross.
The other held a phone.
"They've found the tape."
A voice replied from the phone.
"Should we eliminate them?"
The man remained silent.
Then answered calmly.
"No."
"They're following exactly the path Pastor David wanted."
"Let them continue."
"They'll lead us to what we've been searching for."
The call ended.
The man smiled.
Then slowly opened a drawer.
Inside...
Was another black box.
Exactly like the missing one.
---
That night...
Sarah could not sleep.
She opened her Bible to John chapter 8.
As she read verse 32...
A folded piece of paper slipped from between the pages.
She stared in disbelief.
"I've never seen this before."
It was written in Pastor David's handwriting.
"My daughter...
If you're reading this...
Never trust a revelation that contradicts the Word of God.
Every spirit must be tested.
The truth is not hidden in mysteries.
The truth is found in Christ."
Sarah clutched the note to her chest.
Tears rolled down her face.
For the first time since her father's death...
She felt peace.
---
Meanwhile...
Daniel wasn't convinced.
He drove back to the church alone.
He needed answers.
As he entered the empty auditorium...
He noticed something strange.
The altar had moved.
Only a few inches.
But enough to reveal a small crack in the floor.
Daniel knelt.
Shined his phone's flashlight into the opening.
His heartbeat quickened.
There was something beneath the altar.
Not the black box.
A metal door.
With an old rusted lock.
Etched into the steel were the words:
**"REVELATION TWO."**
Daniel's voice trembled.
"If this is Revelation Two..."
He slowly looked toward the giant cross above the altar.
"...then what was Revelation One?"
Suddenly...
The church lights went out.
A deep voice echoed through the darkness.
"You were never supposed to find it."
EPISODE 3 ENDS.
