THE THIRD REVELATION: THE DEAD MAN ON CAMERA (S1E2)

THE THIRD REVELATION
EPISODE 2: THE DEAD MAN ON CAMERA
Narrator:
The CCTV screen glowed in the darkness.
Daniel couldn't move.
Couldn't breathe.
Couldn't think.
His eyes remained fixed on the image before him.
The figure standing in front of the altar.
The figure holding the black box.
The figure staring directly into the camera.
It was Pastor David Elijah.
His father.
The man they buried three days ago.
"No..."
Daniel whispered.
"No... this can't be happening."
His hands trembled.
He replayed the footage.
Again.
And again.
And again.
Every time, the result was the same.
The same face.
The same walk.
The same black suit.
The same Pastor David.
Suddenly, someone touched his shoulder.
Daniel jumped.
It was Sarah.
"What are you watching?"
Daniel pointed at the screen.
Sarah's face turned pale.
For several seconds she said nothing.
Then she slowly sat down.
"This is impossible."
Daniel nodded.
"Exactly."
Neither of them noticed Michael standing behind the door.
Listening.
Watching.
Waiting.
---
The next morning.
The three siblings gathered inside their father's office.
Rain clouds hung heavily over Lagos.
The atmosphere was tense.
Daniel connected his laptop to a television screen.
"I want everyone to see this."
The footage began to play.
The mysterious figure entered the church.
Walked to the altar.
Retrieved the black box.
Then turned toward the camera.
Silence filled the room.
Michael stood up.
"Someone edited this."
Daniel shook his head.
"The security system is offline. Nobody touched the files."
Sarah stared at the screen.
Then she said something strange.
"Look at the clock."
Daniel paused the footage.
The timestamp read:
2:03 AM.
Sarah's eyes widened.
"That's impossible."
"What?" Daniel asked.
Sarah swallowed.
"Dad died at exactly 2:03 AM."
The room fell silent.
---
Later that evening.
Sarah went to the church auditorium alone.
She knelt before the altar.
Opened her Bible.
And began to pray.
Minutes passed.
Nothing happened.
Then suddenly...
A cold wind swept through the building.
The pages of her Bible flipped rapidly.
Sarah opened her eyes.
A single piece of paper slid from beneath the altar.
She froze.
Slowly she picked it up.
Written in red ink were four words.
"HE KNOWS YOU FOUND IT."
Sarah's heart pounded.
She looked around.
The auditorium was empty.
Yet she felt something.
Someone.
Watching her.
---
At the same time...
Michael sat inside a betting shop across town.
His phone rang.
Unknown Number.
He hesitated.
Then answered.
"Hello?"
A deep voice replied.
"You owe money."
Michael looked around nervously.
"I know."
"Three days."
The voice continued.
"After that, we come for you."
The call ended.
Michael cursed under his breath.
As he stood to leave, he noticed something on the table.
A small envelope.
His name was written on it.
MICHAEL ELIJAH.
His hands shook as he opened it.
Inside was a photograph.
A photograph of him.
Taken earlier that day.
Someone had been following him.
On the back was a message.
"You are closer to the box than you think."
---
That night.
Daniel couldn't sleep.
Something about the CCTV footage bothered him.
Something he had missed.
So he returned to the security room.
And watched the recording again.
This time in slow motion.
Frame by frame.
Then he saw it.
A detail nobody had noticed.
The figure's reflection.
The camera showed a large mirror near the altar.
The mysterious figure passed in front of it.
But there was no reflection.
Daniel's blood ran cold.
The figure appeared on camera.
But not in the mirror.
His phone suddenly rang.
Sarah.
Daniel answered immediately.
"Sarah?"
Her voice trembled.
"Daniel..."
"What happened?"
"Someone is inside Dad's office."
Daniel stood up.
"What?"
"I locked the door myself."
"Stay where you are. I'm coming."
Then Sarah whispered something that made his heart stop.
"The person inside the office..."
She paused.
"I can hear Dad's voice."
---
END OF EPISODE 2
Daniel raced toward the office.
His heart pounding.
The hallway was empty.
The door stood slightly open.
Sarah waited outside.
Terrified.
Slowly, Daniel pushed the door open.
The room was dark.
Silent.
Empty.
No one was there.
Then he noticed something on his father's desk.
A cassette tape.
It had not been there before.
Written on it were the words:
"PLAY ME."
To be continued...
