FC Barcelona Squad Prepares for PSG Clash, Two Defenders Sidelined

Following their impressive victory against Betis in La Liga, FC Barcelona has no time to rest as they gear up for a crucial UEFA Champions League away fixture. Hansi Flick's squad is set to journey to Paris to face PSG at the Parc des Princes for Matchday 3 of the competition. The Catalan giants are aiming to maintain their flawless start to the season, having secured 12 consecutive wins, as they take on the side referred to in the original text as the "current European Champions."

However, the Blaugranes will contend with significant absences in their defensive line. Both Eric Garcia and Jules Kounde sustained injuries during Saturday's clash with Betis and have consequently been omitted from the squad for Tuesday's highly anticipated encounter.

Coach Hansi Flick has unveiled the full list of players traveling to Paris. The squad comprises: Joan Garcia, Cancelo, Balde, Fariñas, Cubarsi, Gavi, Fermín, Pedri, G. Jesus, Lamine Yamal, Raphinha, Xavi Espart, Szczesny, Adeyemi, Rodrigo, Gordon, Gerard Martín, Olmo, De Jong, Bernal, Livakovic, Abdelkarim, and Àlex Campos.

The team's itinerary includes arriving in Paris on Monday. While there, coach Hansi Flick will join midfielder Pedri to address the press. This media engagement will precede a final training session held at the match venue, the Parc des Princes, as the team fine-tunes its preparations before locking horns with Paris Saint-Germain.
