Tottenham Hotspur has finalized an agreement with Premier League rivals Manchester City for the transfer of talented winger Savinho, in a deal reportedly worth £75 million, with an additional £10 million in performance-related add-ons. The 22-year-old Brazilian is expected to undergo a medical examination soon, paving the way for him to sign a long-term contract with the North London club.

Savinho initially joined Manchester City from Troyes in 2024 for a fee of €40 million. During his time with City, he featured in 53 matches across all competitions, contributing two goals and providing 12 assists. It's worth noting that Tottenham had previously attempted to secure the winger's services last summer, but their initial offer was unsuccessful, as Savinho chose to remain with Manchester City to compete for a spot in their squad.

This significant acquisition for Savinho now means Tottenham's total expenditure on new players this summer has surpassed the £300 million threshold. Concurrently, the North London side has also offset a portion of its spending, having successfully recouped around £140 million from player exits, which reportedly included Luka Vuskovic, Cristian Romero, and Djed Spence.
