Andrey Santos Completes Switch to Manchester United

Brazilian midfielder, Andrey Santos, has officially finalized his permanent move to English Premier League giants, Manchester United. Santos initially joined Chelsea in 2023, having been acquired from Vasco Da Gama, a prominent club in his native Brazil. Over his three-year tenure at Stamford Bridge, he progressed significantly, eventually earning a call-up to the senior Brazil national team.
His development trajectory included an 18-month loan period at RC Strasbourg. During this stint, he played a crucial role in the club's successful qualification for the UEFA Conference League and was recognized as the Ligue 1 Young Player of the Month in March 2024 for his outstanding performances. Upon his return to Chelsea in the summer of 2025, Santos was integrated into the squad that went on to lift the prestigious FIFA Club World Cup trophy.
His departure from Stamford Bridge marks the end of a period where he made a total of 47 appearances across all competitions for the London-based club. The management and staff at Chelsea Football Club have extended their gratitude to Andrey for his contributions throughout his time with them, wishing him success in this new chapter of his professional career.
