Osun Governor Adeleke Drawn to Abuja for APC 2027 Campaign Council Launch

Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke, on Wednesday, made his way to Abuja in anticipation of the official launch of the All Progressives Congress (APC) 2027 Presidential Campaign Council. A video currently circulating on the social media platform, X, captured the governor accompanied by his protocol team, proceeding towards a private jet. This aircraft was slated to transport him to the Federal Capital Territory for the significant gathering.

The event itself is slated to take place at the Presidential Villa's Banquet Hall in Abuja. Governor Adeleke recently received an appointment as the Osun State coordinator for President Bola Tinubu’s campaign, aiming for re-election in 2027. This role positions him among a group of party coordinators tasked with galvanising public support for the APC in the lead-up to the forthcoming presidential polls.

The impending inauguration is poised to formally activate the campaign council, marking the commencement of the ruling party’s preparations for the 2027 general elections.
