APC Campaign DG Raises Concern Over Adeleke's Academic Credentials, Backs AMBO

Honourable Wole Oke, the Director-General of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Campaign Organisation, has expressed concerns regarding the educational background of Governor Ademola Adeleke. Oke stated that the governor lacks the necessary academic qualifications to effectively govern the state. He made this statement during the party's campaign rally in Awo, Egbedore Local Government Area of Osun State, where he urged residents to vote for the APC governorship candidate, Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji (AMBO), in the upcoming August 15 governorship election. According to Oke, 'Don't vote for a governor who can't read or write. Rather, vote for competence and someone with a good educational background.' He emphasized the need for a competent and visionary leader in Osun State. Oke also mentioned that the APC is determined to reclaim Osun State, having lost Egbedore Local Government in the 2023 election. The campaign director-general appealed to voters to correct the 'mistake' of the last election by delivering overwhelming votes for Oyebamiji. Earlier, Oyebamiji assured residents that his administration would provide good governance, improve infrastructure, create employment opportunities, and implement people-oriented programmes to improve the welfare of residents across the state.
