Ogun diaspora group endorses YAYI for gov

A political support group, Ogun Diaspora for YAYI 2027 Support and Campaign Group, has endorsed Solomon Olamilekan Adeola for the Ogun State governorship race ahead of the 2027 general elections. The group said in a statement sighted on Thursday morning that its endorsement was informed by the senator’s track record in rural road infrastructure, skills acquisition initiatives, youth empowerment schemes, and economic support programmes across the state’s three senatorial districts. Speaking on behalf of the group, the Director General of Ogun Diaspora for YAYI 2027 and founder of Youth Mobilisation for Tinubu/Shettima 2023 Campaign Organisation, Ambassador Yemi Soile, described Adeola as a leader with a strong record of people-oriented governance and inclusive development. He added that the group was convinced that Adeola possesses the experience, competence and leadership qualities required to advance the development of the state while ensuring equitable growth across all regions. The endorsement statement, which was also signed by the Deputy Director General of Ogun Diaspora for YAYI 2027, Bolaji Jimoh, noted that the senator’s empowerment initiatives and developmental projects had endeared him to many residents within and outside the state. The group maintained that Adeola has demonstrated the capacity to lead Ogun State to greater heights through policies and programmes targeted at economic development, youth engagement and infrastructural expansion.
