X-User's Passport Question to Graduate Divides Online Opinion

An online discussion has erupted following a candid exchange between a recent university graduate and a social media user on X (formerly Twitter). The graduate had initially shared celebratory photographs from their signing-out ceremony, marking the completion of their academic program.
In response to the graduate's post, an X-user posed a direct question, inquiring, "Do you have an international passport?" The fresh graduate provided a straightforward answer, confirming they did not possess one. This honest disclosure quickly ignited a widespread debate across the platform.
The online community found itself divided on the matter. A segment of users commended the graduate for their integrity and truthfulness in the interaction. However, a significant number of others expressed a contrasting view. They contended that obtaining an international passport typically takes only 24 to 48 hours and suggested the graduate should have strategically claimed to have one. This, they argued, would have prevented the individual from potentially missing out on any opportunity the inquiring X-user might have had in mind.
