Full Story
Renowned celebrity fashion designer, Toyin Lawani, has voiced her concerns regarding an emerging trend among certain women in Lagos, suggesting that many are beginning to share identical appearances due to widespread facial augmentations. In a recent video clip circulated across online platforms, Lawani highlighted her observation that an increasing number of women are exhibiting strikingly similar facial characteristics, specifically pointing to elongated jaws and fuller lips.
During her commentary, Lawani noted, "There is something going on in Lagos. Everybody is starting to look alike. I see you today, next day, long jaw." She further probed the origins of these uniform facial attributes, noting that many women, whom she affectionately referred to as "Lagos baddies," now present strikingly similar looks.
Lawani concluded her statement by reiterating her observation: "All the Lagos baddies are just looking alike. Long jaw and plump lips." The video has since sparked conversations online regarding beauty standards and cosmetic procedures within the Lagos social scene.
