Reports indicate that Richie voluntarily admitted himself for these tests following his Saturday evening concert at The Muny venue in St. Louis. Initial reports from sources suggested that physicians were also looking into mild dehydration as a possibility, with Richie himself having hoped for an earlier release on Tuesday.
