Nigerian Social Critic Condemns Child Marriage, Shares Disturbing Video

Abdulaziz Dewat, a renowned social critic and political analyst, has sparked a heated conversation on social media after sharing a disturbing video of a man who allegedly married a minor in one of the northern states in Nigeria. Dewat, an alumnus of Ahmadu Bello University and the University of Strathclyde, said his intention for sharing the video was to raise awareness about the dangers of child marriage and to encourage the development of children, while also discouraging pedophilia in communities. In a strong-worded message, Dewat stated, 'Dear Pedoo, your desire should not override your reasoning and humanity. At this stage, she needs a pen, not a penis.' He further emphasized that the purpose of sharing such videos is to create awareness about the dangers of these practices, promote healthy child development, and discourage pedophilia in communities.
