Tourist Narrowly Escapes Bear Encounter on Romania's Transfăgărășan Highway

A tourist experienced a terrifying moment on Romania's famous Transfăgărășan Highway when a bear quietly approached him from behind while he was completely distracted by his phone. The bear came close enough to sniff his leg without him noticing. When the tourist finally realized the bear was right behind him, he sprinted toward his car in panic as the bear followed him for several meters. Authorities continue to warn visitors not to approach or feed wild animals, as doing so causes them to lose their natural fear of humans and seek more contact with people.
