British model and television personality Katie Price, 48, has reportedly terminated her eight-month marriage to Lee Andrews. The decision comes after she allegedly uncovered that Andrews' cryptocurrency wallet held a mere £2.22, starkly contrasting his previous assertion of possessing $50 million (£37 million) in digital funds. Price is understood to have engaged a prominent London divorce attorney as she considers formalizing the separation.

In a WhatsApp message to Andrews, she reportedly stated, “I have been played and you are not who you say you are. Why have you lied to me?” Furthermore, on Tuesday, September 1, she confided in a friend, saying, “I have come to my senses — Lee has lied and lied and lied. I am sick of it. It is over.”

According to an insider, the revelation about the cryptocurrency account served as the ultimate breaking point, following numerous controversies surrounding Andrews, who is presently incarcerated at Al Awir prison in the United Arab Emirates. The source confirmed, “The marriage is done. She will never go to Dubai to see Lee again.” They added that while various factors contributed to the breakup, the decisive moment arrived when Andrews, after claiming to possess $50 million (£37 million) in a crypto wallet, promised Price a portion of these funds. He provided her with the ‘recovery phrase’ (passkey) to access the account. On Monday, August 31, a financial expert accessed the wallet on Price’s behalf, only to find a shocking balance of just $3, equivalent to £2.22.

The same source further alleged that Andrews never genuinely possessed the significant wealth he had showcased to Price. “Lee never had $50million; he doesn’t have a bean. The most he ever had on any one day was in March for $14,490 (£10,720) which was sent out the very same day,” the source revealed. They elaborated that over recent months, Price had observed mounting evidence against Andrews and had been contemplating an exit strategy as the accumulating "white noise" became undeniable. However, witnessing his actual financial accounts, as opposed to his AI-generated simulations, reportedly caused her immense distress. “He has deeply embarrassed her and, more importantly, has scammed, hurt and cheated so many other women. Enough is enough,” the source concluded.

Andrews, aged 43, consistently asserts his innocence amidst numerous accusations. Reports indicate he is currently attempting to secure funds to settle a fine required for his release from prison. Price and Andrews initially exchanged vows in Dubai in January, a ceremony that lacked legal standing. Their union was officially registered on February 17 at Abu Dhabi’s judicial department.

From the moment their relationship went public, it has been plagued by controversy. Andrews has been confronted with claims from several ex-associates and former partners, all of which he denies. These allegations include misrepresenting his financial status and professional history. Additionally, he stands accused of employing artificial intelligence-generated images to create a false impression of close ties with various celebrities and influential personalities.

Previously, Andrews asserted he held an engineering PhD from Cambridge University; however, the institution reportedly confirmed it had no records of his enrollment. He also claimed to have purchased Chelsea FC and to have collaborated with notable figures such as Kim Kardashian and Elon Musk. Subsequent reports suggested that AI-generated images were utilized to substantiate some of these assertions.

The controversy surrounding Andrews escalated in June when he reportedly vanished for several days, leading Price to file a missing-person report. He later asserted he had been abducted at gunpoint and held in a clandestine location, only to be subsequently located in prison. While Andrews reportedly informed Price he was apprehended on suspicion of espionage, his detention was actually connected to unpaid car rental fees. He has remained at Al Awir prison for weeks, dealing with three civil cases, and has reportedly been in frequent contact with Price, assuring her of his imminent release.

A source speaking to The Sun indicated that Price had become weary of Andrews’ continuous promises. The source quoted her as saying, “She is so unbelievably bored with his lies.” Initially, Price had attempted to extend him the benefit of the doubt when numerous women came forward with allegations, acknowledging that she was genuinely attracted to him. Andrews reportedly had a response for every accusation, managing to regain her affection. However, Katie has maintained regular communication with Andrews’ family and, significantly, his former partners. These individuals had consistently presented her with the truth, growing increasingly frustrated by her apparent reluctance to heed their warnings and end the relationship. The source added, “Katie has always made it clear she’s not thick. She has all the receipts, the screenshots, voice notes and the AI fakery. It’s little secret that she wants to make a documentary, Tinder Swindler-style, so that is now the plan. Hopefully some good can come out of all this — in what has been yet another turbulent year in the life of Katie Price.”

Despite being seen wearing her wedding ring at Manchester Pride just last weekend, subsequent reports suggest Price has since removed it. She reportedly has no intentions of visiting Andrews in Dubai and is actively pursuing legal counsel.
