After Nine Years, Amanda Seyfried and Thomas Sadoski Go Separate Ways

Renowned American actress Amanda Seyfried and her husband, Thomas Sadoski, have announced the dissolution of their nine-year marital union. The 40-year-old Seyfried and Sadoski, aged 50, confirmed their separation, stating it had been ongoing 'for a while,' in a joint announcement released to PEOPLE magazine.

The star of 'Mamma Mia!' shares two children with the actor: their daughter Nina, who is nine years old, and their five-year-old son, Thomas. Their joint statement read: "We have been separated for a while, and it's proven to be the right move for us and our family unit. We've got each other forever—and it's GOOD."

The couple was last publicly seen together on January 9, when Sadoski accompanied Seyfried to a celebration event for her Golden Globe nomination for 'The Testament of Ann Lee' at Chateau Marmont in Los Angeles.

Seyfried and Sadoski initially crossed paths in 2015 while co-starring in the off-Broadway production 'The Way We Get By.' Seyfried had previously disclosed that both were involved in 'bad relationships' when they first met. Their paths converged once more during the filming of 'The Last Word,' where they portrayed on-screen romantic interests. Just a few months later, their on-screen romance transitioned into a real-life relationship.

The pair exchanged vows in a private ceremony held in California in March 2017, only days prior to the birth of their daughter.
