BBNaija's Sheggz Opens Up on Bella Okagbue Split, Denies Infidelity

Big Brother Naija reality television personality, Sheggz, has officially announced the conclusion of his romantic relationship with fellow ex-housemate, Bella Okagbue. He confirmed that the relationship ended in January 2026.

In a comprehensive statement, Sheggz explained that he had previously maintained silence on the matter out of deference to his family. However, he decided to break his silence following what he described as deliberate attempts to undermine his character. He explicitly stated, “For clarity, I did not cheat on Bella and I have been single since January 2026.”

Sheggz further disclosed that the year 2025 presented significant personal challenges, as he spent a considerable amount of time receiving medical treatment. He was in and out of hospitals and eventually travelled to England for recovery, before returning to Nigeria in October of that year. Upon his return, he became aware of certain information that led him to question the sincerity within their relationship. He mentioned that he had previously provided multiple opportunities since 2024 for the truth to be revealed to him.

The relationship, according to Sheggz, formally concluded in January 2026, even though there were subsequent efforts by both parties to reconcile. He elaborated that persistent issues concerning trust and mutual respect ultimately led him to the conclusion that their relationship was not suitable for marriage. He also revealed that he had, in fact, purchased an engagement ring, genuinely believing that they shared a future together.

Despite the unfortunate breakup, Sheggz conveyed his desire to avoid any hostility or public disputes, extending his best wishes to Bella as they both move forward with their lives.
