The controversy began on Thursday, July 9, when content creator Caramel Plug identified that an image she had previously shared on her platform—depicting her in a cream-colored suit, a coffee-brown tie, a matching jacket, and yellow footwear—had been re-uploaded to Anita Joseph’s social media page. While the ensemble and the background aesthetics remained identical, the original face in the photograph had been digitally replaced with Anita Joseph’s.

Caramel Plug subsequently revealed that her attempts to voice her disapproval directly on the post were met with repeated deletion of her comments. The incident quickly gained traction online, leading to significant public backlash against Anita Joseph. In response to the widespread criticism, Joseph removed the contentious image and issued an apology, attributing the mix-up to an error generated by Artificial Intelligence.

Reacting to these developments via her Instagram account, Angela Okorie did not hold back, describing Anita Joseph as a 'bad person' and what she termed a 'complete yeyebrity.'
