Nollywood Mourns Loss of Veteran Actor Okiki Adesina, aka Janmole, in Fatal Road Accident

The Nigerian entertainment industry is in a state of mourning following the tragic death of veteran actor, filmmaker, and comedian, Okiki Adesina, widely known as Janmole. The incident occurred on Monday, June 1, 2026, when the actor was involved in a fatal auto crash. The news of his passing was confirmed by veteran filmmaker and National President of the Theatre Arts and Motion Pictures Practitioners Association of Nigeria (TAMPAN), Bolaji Amusan, popularly known as Mr. Latin, on Tuesday, June 2. Mr. Latin took to his Instagram page to pay tribute to the late actor and offer prayers for the grieving family and entertainment community. In his tribute, he wrote, 'May the soul of our departed colleague, Adesina Okiki Janmole, who tragically lost his life in an accident, rest in perfect peace. May God grant his family, friends, and colleagues the strength and comfort to bear this irreparable loss. He will be greatly missed. Amen.'
