Fuel Price Trends: Baltic Cities Experience Fluctuations

As the workweek drew to a close, a review of fuel prices across major Baltic cities revealed notable trends. In Riga, the cost of gasoline reached its peak, with Vilnius and Tallinn following closely. Conversely, diesel fuel prices were highest in Vilnius, while Riga trailed, and Tallinn recorded the lowest prices. At a Circle K gas station in Riga, located on Krasta Street, the price of 95-octane gasoline saw a 1.7% increase over the week, settling at €1.774 per liter by Friday. Meanwhile, diesel fuel prices rose by 3.6% to €1.714 per liter. In Vilnius, another Circle K gas station, this time on Savanoriu Avenue, the price of 95-octane gasoline stood at €1.709 per liter, marking a 2.7% increase from the previous week. Diesel fuel prices in Vilnius also experienced a significant jump, rising by 4.9% to €1.824 per liter by the end of the week. Tallinn, however, witnessed a different scenario, with the price of 95-octane gasoline decreasing by 1% to €1.67 per liter at a Circle K gas station, and diesel fuel prices increasing by 0.9% to €1.574 per liter. The autogas prices also showed variation, with Riga seeing a 2.2% increase to €0.935 per liter, Vilnius experiencing a 13% decrease to €0.759 per liter, and Tallinn witnessing a minor 0.2% drop to €0.978 per liter.
