In a remarkable feat, Nigerian academic Professor Ogechi Adeola has been named among the top 10 scientists in Rwanda, according to the 2026 AD Scientific Index. Specifically, she has emerged as the leading researcher in the fields of Business and Management in the country. Currently serving as the Deputy Vice-Chancellor for Research, Innovation, and Enterprise at the University of Kigali, Professor Adeola has received this recognition for her outstanding contributions to research and her significant scholarly impact. This latest honour comes on the heels of her being named among the Stanford-Elsevier World's Top 2% Scientists in 2025, further solidifying her reputation as a trailblazer in research excellence.
