Although Suri was born in Los Angeles, the name change might have been effected in New York, given that she has been residing in Pennsylvania since 2024. Notably, Suri had already stopped using her father's surname in informal settings, as evident during her high school graduation in June 2024, where she was referred to as Suri Noelle. Currently, she is pursuing her junior year at Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes, who divorced in 2012, welcomed Suri in April 2006.
