US Teacher Amber Swain Faces Inc£st Charges Over Alleged Affairs with Adopted Sons

A teacher from Washington state, Amber Swain, has been accused of engaging in s£xual relationships with her two adopted teenage sons. The 35-year-old, who is also a former executive director of a nonprofit organization that assists foster children, was charged with inc£st after her estranged husband reported a series of disturbing text messages between Swain and one of the boys to the authorities. According to court documents, one of the adopted sons, who is now 18 years old, had sent a text message to Swain expressing his desire to sleep in her bed 'again, just once.' Swain responded by telling him that she loved him but that such behavior was not acceptable. The mother of six, who adopted one of the boys after meeting him as a third-grader in her classroom in 2017, is alleged to have begun a s£xual relationship with one of the boys in December when he was just 17 years old. In police interviews, one of the adopted sons claimed that he had engaged in s£x with Swain on multiple occasions, including two days prior to the interview. The boy also alleged that he had discovered Swain's underwear on his brother's bedroom floor and had found them in a locked room together, leading him to suspect that Swain was also having a s£xual relationship with his brother. When questioned by the police, Swain initially denied any s£xual contact with her adopted son but later admitted to having s£x with him starting in February of this year. She was arrested on June 2 and placed on administrative leave from her job as a teacher at an alternative high school. Swain pleaded not guilty to the charges at her arraignment on June 8 and faces up to 10 years in prison if convicted. Her trial is scheduled to begin on October 6.
