A Nigerian woman, known on Facebook as Mmili Doro Edoo, has publicly accused her husband, alongside his community's umunna (kinsmen) and umuada (daughters of the kindred), of subjecting her to profound ridicule. She alleged that on the evening of October 18, 2026, the umuada from her husband's village forcefully entered her matrimonial home with the intention of evicting her.

This incident, she claimed, echoed a similar attempt in 2021 when the umunna of the same village tried to remove her from the house. Mmili Doro Edoo explicitly stated her belief that her husband orchestrated both events, questioning why he wouldn't simply divorce her instead of orchestrating such public humiliation.

In a recent Facebook post, she recounted the events: "In 2021 umunna Agbana came to throw me out of my matrimonial house over a little argument when I was pregnant of my 2nd child. Then dis night being 18th of Oct 2026 History has repeated its self, dis time around its umuada Agbana...den I ask what's my offense dat warrant umuada Agbana summoning in my compound with d intention of throwing me out of my matrimonial home?"

She further queried the necessity of involving extended family in personal matters, stating, "Can't family issues be sorted out without involving umuada, umunna, friends etc?" Mmili Doro Edoo highlighted what she perceived as an unfair targeting, noting that other women within the Agbana kindred who committed "abominable things" had not faced similar public eviction attempts. "Since am married into dis Agbana kindred I haven't heard dat umuada Agbana threw anyone out her husband's house, nd I can count up to 5 women dat did abominable things in their husband's house...why is my own different?"

Directing her plea to her spouse, she asked, "To my dear husband Why not send me out of ur house d same way U married me, instead of subjecting me to be ridiculed in dis manner? What's my OFFENSE I ask again?"

She concluded by asserting her silence despite the ongoing ordeal, only refuting numerous allegations against her. "In all these dat have been going on, I haven't opened my mouth to say anything, I only debuke heaps of allegations leveled on me. I won't talk for now...buh to U reading dis don't wish urself or ur daughter or sister my type of marriage, what you don't know you can't say...ALL DAT GLITTERS IS NOT GOLD, am not writing dis with emotions am stating fact. Mana let it be d day I will present my facts with evidence, only then U will tell me whether you can endure quarter of what I endured hoping he will understand nd change."
