The Lagos State chapter of the National Union of Road Transport Workers is in mourning following the death of its Organising Secretary, Toba Ajiboye, popularly known as Toba Ijaya. Ajiboye lost his life after being shot by unidentified gunmen in the Fadeyi area of Lagos on Sunday evening. The incident occurred when he was leaving the area after visiting some childhood friends. According to eyewitnesses, his vehicle was riddled with bullet holes, and he was rushed to the hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
