Popular Tiktoker Peller, Lagos Police Clash Over Unregistered Vehicle

A well-known Nigerian Tiktoker, Peller, reportedly had a confrontation with law enforcement officers in Lagos State earlier today. The incident stemmed from allegations that Peller was operating a vehicle without a valid number plate.
This encounter comes in the wake of a directive issued by the Inspector General of Police, Tunji Disu, which mandates police personnel to apprehend individuals found driving vehicles either lacking a number plate or having their number plate obscured.
Sources indicate that Peller was pulled over by the officers while driving his car, which, at the time, was observed to be missing its registration plate. Peller reportedly informed the officers that the vehicle was a recent acquisition and had not yet been registered, hence the absence of a number plate.
However, the situation escalated when Peller commenced recording the interaction with the law enforcement agents. According to Peller, the officers' demeanor turned aggressive following this. He further accused one officer of physically grabbing his shirt and, disturbingly, pointing a firearm in his direction.
