The Bayelsa State Police Command has issued a public appeal, urging citizens to assist in locating the parents or guardians of four young children recently rescued across different parts of the state. In a public announcement released on Saturday, the command confirmed that the children were found in both the Ekeremor Local Government Area and the Yenagoa Local Government Area.

The rescued minors have been identified as 12-year-old Affiong Etim, 12-year-old Stephen Ibrahim, 13-year-old Divine Okon, and six-year-old Majesty Edolor.

Musa Mohammed, the Police Public Relations Officer for the Bayelsa State Command, called on anyone with pertinent information that could help reunite these children with their families to promptly contact the Bayelsa State Police Command.

His statement specified: “By this announcement, the Police Command solicits the co-operation of members of the public, who may have useful information about their parents or guardians, to contact the Police Public Relations Officer, Bayelsa State Police Command, on GSM No. 07032702984 or O/C Gender 07039716585, please.”
