Etinosa Idemudia: Parents Fuel Society's 'Monsters' Through Upbringing

Full Story
Nollywood star Etinosa Idemudia has pointed fingers at parental practices, asserting that many mothers and fathers are primarily responsible for the "monsters" observed in society today. Through a recent social media post, the outspoken actress critiqued the recurring pattern of domestic violence and physical discipline, urging the younger generation to consciously break this harmful cycle.
Idemudia elaborated on her stance, highlighting how numerous mothers in past generations endured abuse from their husbands. This, she argued, inadvertently conveyed to their sons that violent behavior was acceptable. Furthermore, she noted that a prevalent belief among many parents is that physical beating is the sole effective method for correcting a child, a practice that ultimately instills violent tendencies in children.
According to the popular personality, the onus now rests on the current generation to abandon these outdated methods and commit to raising children in environments free from violence.
