Spartan Company Stays Closed: Owner Rejects Demands to Hire South African Citizens

A white South African owner of Spartan Company has refused to reopen his business despite calls from March and March members to hire South African citizens.

The businessman was accused of previously hiring Mozambican workers, who have since left the country following the recent xenophobic attacks.

During the confrontation, he said he has "his own people" and would not employ Black Africans.

He also stated that he is not hiring anyone for now and will keep the company closed.
