Atiku, Obasanjo Feud to End with Tribute, Says Senator Shehu Sani

The long-standing feud between former President Olusegun Obasanjo and African Democratic Congress (ADC) presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, has been a subject of discussion for many years. According to Senator Shehu Sani, the feud may not come to an end until one of them passes away, and the other will then pay a glowing tribute. The former Kaduna Central Senator made this statement on Saturday, August 1, while reflecting on the feud that has been ongoing for decades. Senator Sani noted that the feud began when the current Generation Z was still in nursery and primary school, and it has continued to this day, even after that generation has graduated from universities, married, and had children. He stated that since Atiku threw a 'devastating bomb' at Obasanjo, he has been receiving 'hypersonic missiles' from the former president for two decades. Recently, Obasanjo renewed his feud with Atiku when he declared that selecting Atiku as his running mate in 1999 was his biggest mistake in office. Atiku has also been critical of his former principal, reopening old political grievances. As the feud continues, it remains to be seen how it will eventually come to an end.
