Video - Leaders of Tomorrow, Struggling Today: A Reflection on Tinubu’s Democracy Day Speech
After listening to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Democracy Day speech, including his warning to terrorists and his encouragement to Nigerian youths not to give up on Nigeria, I found myself reflecting deeply.
These are the same youths who have been told for years that they are the leaders of tomorrow, yet many of them can barely survive today. How can they lead tomorrow if they cannot live with dignity today? How can they continue to believe in Nigeria when the opportunities they need seem increasingly out of reach?
As I watched Mr. President speak about democracy, I found myself asking once again: Are we truly living under a democratic government?
